How should I prepare for my appointment?

Please arrive with clean skin if possible and avoid using retinoids, exfoliating acids, or other potentially irritating products for 2–3 days before your appointment unless we've discussed otherwise. If you've recently had Botox, fillers, laser treatments, or chemical peels, please let me know before booking.

Sensitive skin is always welcome. Every treatment is customized to your skin condition, skin barrier health, and comfort level. Your facial will be modified to ensure the safest, most beneficial, and most comfortable experience.

Will I receive extractions?

Extractions are performed only when appropriate and beneficial for your skin. They are never forced and may be omitted if your skin barrier is compromised, your skin would benefit from a gentler approach, or if you don't want them.

Major credit and debit cards and other payment methods offered through the booking system are accepted. A valid card is required to reserve appointments.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a 50% cancellation fee.Clients who do not arrive for a scheduled appointment without notice will be charged 100% of the scheduled service and may be required to prepay future appointments.I understand that unexpected situations and emergencies happen. As a courtesy, the first late cancellation may be waived at my discretion. Future cancellations and no-shows will be handled in accordance with this policy. During your consultation, we'll review your health history, discuss any concerns, and walk through the products and ingredients selected for your treatment so you can feel informed and comfortable every step of the way.

What happens if I have a reaction after my facial?

Mild redness or temporary sensitivity can be a normal response depending on the treatment received. If you experience unexpected irritation or have concerns after your appointment, please contact Aera Esthetics within 48 hours so we can discuss the best next steps.If you experience severe or worsening symptoms, or feel you require immediate medical attention, call 911 or contact your physician or seek care from an urgent care center at your own discretion.As a licensed esthetician, I do not diagnose or treat medical conditions, and any medical concerns should be evaluated by a qualified healthcare provider.
